Cyber Recovery management host

The management host is a physical or VM host.

The management host requires the following:

  • One of the following operating systems with the latest updates, patches, and security patches:
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version 7.7, 7.8, 7.9, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.6, and 8.7
    • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server Version 15 SP4, 15 SP3, and 12 SP5
    NOTE:
    • CentOS is not supported for new Cyber Recovery installations. It is supported on existing deployments that are already running CentOS. For information about how to migrate a Cyber Recovery deployment to a supported operating system, see Migrating to a different operating system.
    • For a Cyber Recovery software installation or update, ensure that the libstdc++ library is installed. For Cyber Recovery virtual appliance deployments, the libstdc++ library is already included.
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 200 GB disk space :
    • 5 GB free space to extract the Cyber Recovery software
    • 10 GB or more free space for installation of the Cyber Recovery software
