Assigned resources in the Cyber Recovery AWS virtual private cloud (VPC)

The Cyber Recovery solution deployment assigns system resources for the instances it creates in the Cyber Recovery AWS virtual private cloud (VPC).

The system resources for the three Cyber Recovery solution instances include:

  • For the Cyber Recovery m5.xlarge EC2 instance type:
    • 4 vCPU cores
    • 16 GB of RAM
    • One 200 GB disk
    • One NIC operating at up to 10 Gbps
  • For the DDVE m5.2xlarge EC2 instance type (which is the minimum EC2 instance type):
    • 8 vCPU cores
    • 32 GB of RAM
    • One 250 GB root disk
    • One 10 GB NVRAM disk
    • Minimum of one 1 TB metadata disk
      NOTE:There can be up to 24 1 TB metadata disks.
    • Two NICs operating at up to 10 Gbps each
    NOTE:The Cyber Recovery solution deployment also creates an S3 bucket for DDVE.
  • For the jump host m5.large EC2 instance type:
    • 2 vCPU cores
    • 8 GB of RAM
    • One 32 GB disk
    • One NIC operating at up to 10 Gbps
