This section describes how a user with System Administrator role can change their own password, and also of other users.
Prerequisites
This operation requires the System Administrator role in ECS.
About this task
NOTE
User with System Administrator role can change their own password.
User with System Administrator role can also change passwords of other users (usually in cases where the account of a user gets locked out, users with System Administrator role can reset the account of that user by setting a new password).
To change the password, users do not have to provide the old password.
Steps
In the ECS Portal, select
Manage > Users > Management Users > Select User > Edit.
The
Edit Management User <user_name> page opens.
Enter the new password, in the
Password field, and then enter it again in the
Confirm Password
.
Click
Save.
