Procedure

1. Route the display cable into the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Align the tabs on the hinges with the slots on the palm-rest assembly and place the display assembly on the palm-rest assembly.
   
3. Replace the eight screws (M2x4) that secure the left and right hinges to the palm-rest assembly.
   
4. Align the hinge cover with the slots on the palm-rest assembly and press to secure the hinge cover.
   

   CAUTION Exercise care when flipping the computer.
5. Flip the computer over.
6. Slide the display cable into the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
7. Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.
8. Replace the four screws (M2x4) that secure the display assembly to the palm-rest assembly.
