General cluster configuration

You can manage general OneFS settings and module licenses for the PowerScale cluster.

General cluster administration covers several areas. You can:

• Manage general settings such as cluster name, date and time, and email.
• Monitor the cluster status and performance, including hardware components.
• Configure how events and notifications are handled.
• Perform cluster maintenance such as adding, removing, and restarting nodes.
• Take backup of cluster configuration and restore the configuration in the same or different cluster.

Most management tasks are accomplished through both the web administration or command-line interface; however, occasionally there are exceptions to that.
