Removing the speaker

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the side cover.

Steps

  1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
  2. Unroute the speaker cable from the routing guides on the fan assembly.
  3. Press the release tab and lift the speaker along with the cable from the system board.
