Removing the system board

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. Side Cover
   2. Front bezel
3. Open the front panel door.
4. Remove the:
   1. Heat sink assembly
   2. Processor
   3. Expansion card
   4. Optional M.2 PCIe SSD card
   5. SD card reader
   6. Memory module
5. Disconnect the optical drive and hard drive cables [1,2] from the connectors on the system board.
   
6. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
   1. PSU [1]
   2. power switch [2]
   3. speaker [3]
   4. PSU [4]
   5. power distribution for optical drive and hard drive [5]
   6. system fan [6]
   7. intrusion switch [7]
      
7. To remove the system board:
   1. Remove the screws (6+/-1) that secure the system board to the computer
      
   2. Slide and lift the system board away from the computer [2].
