Installing the chassis fan
Prerequisites
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the chassis fan and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Insert the rubber grommets on the chassis.
- Align the slots on the fan with the rubber grommets on the chassis.
- Route the rubber grommets through the slots on the fan and pull the rubber grommets until the fan snaps into position.
- Connect the fan cable to the connector on the system board.
