Removing the 3.5-inch hard-disk drive bracket
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
- Remove the 3.5-inch hard-disk drive assembly.

Steps
- Pry one side of the hard-disk drive bracket edge to release the tabs on the bracket from the slots on the hard-disk drive.
- Lift and remove the hard-disk drive off the hard-disk drive bracket.
