Installing a GPU riser cable on the GPU switch board

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
  2. Install the GPU.
    CAUTION The GPU should be installed in the system before installing the GPU riser cables to prevent pin damage in the PCIe connectors on the GPU switch board.

Steps

Insert the card edge connector firmly into the GPU riser card connector until the card is fully seated.
