Removing the control panel module
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
- Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
- Remove the system top cover (front).
Steps
- Hold and pull the plastic pull tab to disconnect the control panel cable from the control panel module.
- Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the control panel module to the chassis.
- Lift the control panel module away from the chassis.
