  1. RAID 1+0 または RAID 5 などの大容量の仮想ディスクを作成し、書き込みキャッシュを有効にします。
  2. 作成した仮想ディスク上で VMFS データストアを構築します。
  3. 複数（4 台か 5 台）の仮想ディスクを VMFS データストアに配置します。
  4. アプリケーションを実行して、ディスクのパフォーマンスが許容可能かどうかを判別します。 パフォーマンスが許容可能の場合 は、追加の仮想ディスクを VMFS データストアに配置することができます。 パフォーマンスが許容可能でない場合 は、新しい大容量の仮想ディスクを作成し、プロセスを繰り返します。 別の RAID レベルを使用できます。 仮想ディスクの再生成時に仮想マシンを失わないように、移行を行ってください。
