Changing a Local Administrator Password

You can change the password only for a local administrator account. The password for remote administrators is maintained in the external database.
  1. Click the Access Control tab on the left.
  2. Click the User Repositories tab on the top.
  3. In the Local Users pane, click Settings icon. in the row of the user whose password you want to change.
  4. Click Change Password. The Change Password for Local User dialog box appears.
  5. In the New password field, type a password for the administrator. The password must be at least seven characters long and contain three of the following elements: a lowercase character, an uppercase character, a digit, or a special character (such as +, ?, or ∗).
  6. In the Repeat new password field, re‐type the password for the administrator.
  7. Click OK.
