clear ip dhcp snooping binding

Clears the dynamic entries in the DHCP snooping binding table.

Syntax
clear ip dhcp snooping binding [mac mac-address] [vlan vlan-id] [interface {ethernetslot/port/sub-port> | port-channel port-channel-id}]
Parameters
  • mac mac-address—Enter the MAC address of the host to which the server is leasing the IP address.
  • vlan vlan-id—Enter the VLAN ID. The range is from 1 to 4093.
  • interface type—Enter the interface type information. You can enter a physical, a VLAN, or a port-channel interface.

This command clears the dynamic entries in the DHCP snooping binding table.

CAUTION: Clearing the DHCP snooping binding table using the clear ip dhcp snooping binding command also clears the SAV and DAI entries on the system. This affects the traffic from clients that are connected to the DHCP snooping-enabled VLANs.
