Removing display hinge

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. WLAN card
    3. display assembly
    4. display bezel
    5. display panel
  3. To remove the display hinge:
    1. Remove the ten M2 x 2 screws that secure the display hinge to the display assembly [1].
    2. Lift the display hinge away from the display assembly [2].
