Removing the optane card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the base cover.
  3. To remove the optane card:
    1. Remove the M2.0 x 3 screw that secures the optane card to the system [1].
    2. Lift and slide the optane card away from the system [2].
    3. Peel the thermal pad [3].
