Removing the Speakers

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. hard drive

    4. WLAN card

    5. mSATA SSD card

    6. coin-cell battery

    7. system fan

    8. heatsink

    9. system board

  3. Un-route the speaker cable from the routing channel.Figure displaying how to un-route the speaker cable from the routing channel.
  4. Lift the speaker assembly along with the routing cable and remove the speakers from the computer. Figure displays lifting the speaker from the computer.
