Removing the Hard Drive

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

  3. Lift the hard drive assembly in an upward direction to release it from its compartment on the computer. Figure displaying the removal of the hard drive from the computer.
