Installing coin cell battery
- Affix the coin cell battery on the slot inside the computer.
- Route the coin cell battery cable through the routing channel before connecting the cable.

Connect the coin cell battery cable to the connector on the system board.
NOTE When removing or replacing the RTC battery or system board for Latitude 7490, the RTC battery cable must be routed in the routing channels and secured within the notch on the system board.
- Reconnect the battery
- Install the following components:
