Active System Manager Release 8.1.1 User’s Guide

1. From the Resource to Duplicate drop down list, select an application to clone.

2. In the # of Instances box, enter the number of new applications that you want to add to the service. Click Continue.

3. In the Component Name box, enter the name for the application(s).

If you want to add a new application, next to New Component Settings, click New, and perform the following steps:

1. From the Select a Component drop-down list, select one of the following application types:
   • mssql
   • citrix_xd7
   • linux_postinstall
   • mssql2012
   • windows_postinstall

2. Under Associated Resources,select which existing components to associate with the newly added application.

3. Click Continue.

   Based on the component type, specific settings and properties appear automatically that are required and can be edited. For more information specific to component type settings, see Component Types .
