Ian Goetz is the Director – RAN Systems Architect in the Dell Technologies, Telecom Systems Business. He has 34 years’ experience in the mobile communications industry across operator, vendor, consulting and research roles starting in BT Research Laboratories and followed by BT Cellnet, Tellabs, IBM, Motorola, Aircom International, Juniper Networks and now Dell Technologies.
His experience includes 3GPP, GSMA and ETSI standards work, solution creation across core and RAN as well as patents in these fields. He currently works with the Dell Technologies PdM and Engineering teams as well as customers, on O-RAN as well as the Edge Cloud and Private 5G solutions where they intersect with O-RAN.
