Each year Computerworld gathers nominations to determine its Premier 100 IT Leaders list. This year, our own Adriana “Andi” Karaboutis was selected for her leadership, vision and drive for innovative solutions. The Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders is an award that honors technology professionals who have demonstrated leadership in their organizations through the use of IT and who have the strategic vision to align technology with business goals.
We’re excited to see Andi – and Dell – recognized by one of the industry’s foremost publications. Some examples of the innovative IT solutions Andi and her team have driven include:
- The new Customer Hub, intended to be the future operational data store for all Dell internal customer data. This means our internal business partners are able to see a complete view of Dell’s customers so our sales team can help customers make smarter purchasing decisions;
- Creation of a mobile innovation team focused on finding, testing and delivering mobility solutions, including a Salesforce.com sales tracker app for our Sales team and a QR code reader app, which won earlier this year both the American Web Design Award (AWDA) and Red Dot Product Design Award and enables customers to link directly to critical service information anytime, anywhere;
- Delivery of the Self-service Marketing Workbench that allows Dell’s internal business to develop solutions and “mine data” without the constraints of IT; and,
- Collaborative focus with our CMO, Karen Quintos and team, by implementing a Chief Data Officer to empower Dell business leaders to make decisions with best-in-class analytical processes, innovative technologies, and common information assets.
