Symptoms

NDMP Accelerator에서 데이터를 백업하거나 네트워크 연결 스토리지로 데이터를 복원할 수 없습니다.

알려진 사실:
  • 이전에는 NDMP 백업이 문제 없이 작동했습니다. 
  • NDMP 가속기 노드에서 유지 보수가 수행되었습니다(세부 정보는 알 수 없음).
  • 유지 보수 시간 이후로 NDMP 백업이 더 이상 자동으로 실행되지 않습니다.
  • Avamar Administrator에서 백업을 수동으로 실행하면 "Waiting Client" 상태가 유지됩니다.

Cause

Avamar NDMP Accelerator 노드에서 Linux avagent 서비스가 중지되었습니다. 유지 보수 후 재시작되지 않았습니다.

avagent 서비스는 Avamar 백업 서비스입니다. Avamar 서버와 통신하고 백업 및 복원 작업 지시를 수신합니다. 서비스가 중지된 경우 백업 또는 복원 작업을 시작할 수 없습니다.

Resolution

avagent 서비스는 일반 Linux 서비스입니다. 상태를 확인합니다. 
admin@avmtest4:~/>: service avagent status
avagent Info: Client Agent is running.
avagent Info: Client activated with MCS "avmtest5:28001"
avagent Info: Client using DPN "10.64.18.165"
avagent Info: avagent script version 11

서비스가 중지된 경우 아래와 같이 시작하십시오. 
admin@avmtest4:~/>: service avagent start
avagent Info: Client Agent already running.                [PASSED]
admin@avmtest4:~/>:

avagent 서비스는 runlevel 3에서 시작하도록 구성해야 합니다. 다음 명령을 통해 확인합니다. 
admin@avmtest4:~/>: chkconfig --list | grep avagent
avagent         0:off   1:off   2:on    3:on    4:on    5:on    6:off

 runlevel 3에서 자동으로 시작하도록 서비스를 구성하려면 루트 사용자로 다음 명령을 실행합니다.
chkconfig --level 3 avagent on

chkconfig 명령을 다시 실행하여 출력에 avagent 서비스가 runlevel 3에서 시작된다는 것을 확인할 수 있습니다.
