An affected platform with a DW5932e Snapdragon X62 WWAN card accepts a pin to unlock the SIM. Afterwards, it is stuck for seconds or minutes in a "no Internet access" state until the WWAN functionality disappears and reappears. This process repeats without the WWAN connection ever getting established.

Cause

An error occurs with the Dell Wireless 5932e and Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 Firmware and GNSS/GPS Driver.

Resolution

Updating to Dell Wireless 5932e and Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 Firmware and GNSS/GPS Driver version 3.2.0.20, A07 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the firmware and driver, refer to How to Download and Install Dell Drivers and Firmware.
