Unable to Start Security Server After Updating the Database Password in Dell Security Management Server Virtual

Cause

Not Applicable

Resolution

Stopping and restarting services does not correct the problem. A reboot of the virtual machine must be completed to get the Security Server to show as Running.

  1. Select Reboot Appliance from the Basic Configuration menu.

  1. After the reboot, confirm that all services are running by selecting System Dashboard from the Main Menu.

  1. All services are now show Running.

  1. Select Reboot Appliance from the Basic Configuration menu.
