Symptoms
The following is seen from within the vCenter hostd log:

NOTE: The message above may also contain 00:50:56:XX:XX:XX within the specified value line above, depending on the MAC address itself.
Cause
If Image Access is attempted on a protected VM that has a MAC address starting with 00:0c:29 or 00:50:56, this situation occurs. These address spaces are reserved ranges for VMware environments only.
Resolution
Workaround:
Reconfigure the protected Virtual Machine MAC address to be outside of the reserved range.

The issue is external to RecoverPoint, no resolution is expected on RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines side.
