Symptoms
The NetWorker solution is configured with the NetWorker Virtual Edition (NVE) Appliance. The NvePlatformOsRollup_2020-R4plus-v6.avp Security Rollup package is being applied to the NVE Appliance running NetWorker 19.4.0.x, but stops at 45% with the message "Install Operating System Patches with Selected SuSE RPMs (9 of 18) Failed".

... If you select the "Call Support..." option and click "Issue resolved, continuing the installation", it will encounter the same behavior.
Cause
The Security Rollup package is validating that security group "59" exists, which is not available on NVE operating system configuration.
Resolution
The security group can be manually added to allow the Security Rollup package validation to complete successfully.
1. From the VMware vSphere Client, create a VMware snapshot for the NVE appliance.
2. Open a SSH session to the NVE and authenticate as admin.
3. Switch to root user: sudo su -
4. Run the following sequence of commands to correct the postfix/mail group settings:

nve:~ # usermod --gid 51 -g postfix postfix
nve:~ # usermod -a -G maildrop postfix
nve:~ # usermod -a -G mail postfix
5. Run the following to confirm the settings match: id postfix
nve:~ # id postfix
uid=51(postfix) gid=51(postfix) groups=51(postfix),12(mail),59(maildrop)
6. Return to the NetWorker Installation Manager and click on the "Call Support..." then click "Issue resolved, continuing the installation" to allow the successful completion of the Security Rollup package.
7. The VMware snapshot can be deleted once NetWorker access and functionality has been validated.
