Symptoms

Scenario di caso: 2 backup di VM (VM1 VMDK da 2,5 TB, VM2 da 3,51 TB) con errore:

È possibile trovare i registri di sessione anche nel vProxy in: /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/recycle/vbackupd/

Cause

L'errore "VM_NAME.vmdk is bigger than the maximum file size supported on datastore" proviene dal datastore VMware su cui risiede vProxy.

Resolution

VMware vMotion/Migrate the vProxy to another datastore in the same cluster, and the backup was successful.

Per risolvere il problema del datastore, abbiamo riavviato ciascuno degli host ESXi nel cluster per ottenere una connessione/mount pulito di tutto lo storage F/C. Contattare il supporto VMware per analizzare ulteriormente il problema del datastore.
