Symptoms

Casos: Los respaldos de 2 VM (VM1 VMDK, 2,5 TB, VM2, 3,51 TB) fallan y arrojan el siguiente error:

Cause

El error "VM_NAME.vmdk es mayor que el tamaño de archivo máximo compatible con el almacén de datos" proviene del almacén de datos de VMware en el que reside vProxy.

Resolution

VMware vMotion/Migre el vProxy a otro almacén de datos en el mismo clúster y el respaldo se realizó correctamente.

Para solucionar el problema del área de almacenamiento de datos, reinició cada uno de los hosts ESXi del clúster para obtener una conexión/montaje limpios de todo el almacenamiento de F/C. Comuníquese con el soporte de VMware para investigar más a fondo el problema del almacén de datos.
