ケース シナリオ: 2台のVM(VM1 VMDKサイズ2.5 TB、VM2 VMDKサイズ3.51 TB)バックアップがエラーで失敗します。

Cause

「VM_NAME.vmdk is bigger than the maximum file size supported on datastore」というエラーは、vProxyが存在するVMwareデータストアからのエラーです。

Resolution

VMware vMotion/同じクラスター内の別のデータストアにvProxyを移行すると、バックアップが正常に完了しました。

データストアの問題を解決するために、クラスター内の各ESXiホストを再起動して、すべてのF/Cストレージのクリーンな接続/マウントを取得しました。VMwareサポートに連絡して、データストアの問題をさらに調査します。
