Cause

Der Fehler "VM_NAME.vmdk is bigger than the maximum file size supported on datastore" stammt aus dem VMware-Datenspeicher, auf dem sich vProxy befindet.

Resolution

VMware vMotion/Migrieren des vProxy zu einem anderen Datenspeicher im selben Cluster und das Backup war erfolgreich.

Um das Datenspeicherproblem zu beheben, haben Sie jeden der ESXi-Hosts im Cluster neu gestartet, um eine saubere Verbindung/einen sauberen Mount für den gesamten F/C-Speicher zu erhalten. Wenden Sie sich an den VMware-Support, um das Datenspeicherproblem weiter zu untersuchen.
