Slow Processor Speed
The processor speed on an XPS 9315 shows that it is between 0.8 Mhz and 0.9 Mhz when using AC adapter or battery power. This happens with Windows 10 and 11.
Cause
This is a BIOS configuration issue when Intel SpeedStep and Turbo Boost have been disabled.
Resolution
BIOS Settings
Update the XPS 9315 BIOS to the latest version and enable Intel SpeedStep and Turbo Boost.
