Symptoms

The tablet detects inputs not made by the user.

Affected Platforms:

Cause

The conductive material of the keyboard dock was treated as the incorrect touch baseline, lid close power on, to trigger the ghost touch symptom.

Resolution

Updating the BIOS version A01 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to Dell BIOS and UEFI Update Download and Installation Guide.
