Enable multipathing on an ESXI host with FC volumes

Perform the following steps to enable multipathing on the ESXI host with Fibre Channel (FC) volumes:

  1. Log in to the VMware vCenter Server, then click on the ESXi host added.
  2. On the Configure tab, select Storage Devices.
  3. Perform a rescan of the storage devices.
  4. Select the FC Disk (Dell Fibre Channel Disk) created in the Register an ESXi host with FC HBAs and create and map volumes procedure, then select the Properties tab below the screen.
  5. Click Edit Multipathing, then select Round Robin (VMware) from the drop down list.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Follow steps 4-6 for all volumes presented from the Dell PowerVault ME4 Series Storage system to ESXi host.
