Dell provides an ME4 Series USB driver for use in Windows environments.

Obtaining the USB driver

NOTE:If you are using Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016, the operating system provides a native USB serial driver that supports the mini-USB port. However, if you are using an older version of Windows, you should download and install the USB driver.
  1. Go to Dell.com/support and search for ME4 Series USB driver.
  2. Download the ME4 Series Storage Array USB Utility file from the Dell support site.
  3. Follow the instructions on the download page to install the ME4 Series USB driver.
