Installing the cable routing clip

Prerequisites

Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that are shipped with your product.

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in before working inside your system.

Steps

  1. Align the screw holes on the cable routing clip with the screw holes on the system board and lower the clip on the system board.
  2. Secure the cable routing clip to the system board by using the screws.
