Security controls are provided for the physical infrastructure of the APEX Cloud Platform. A security control map indicates the connections of a product or subsystem and security controls.

To assess overall security:

• Use security controls to reduce risk levels when known vulnerabilities exist in a product or the components.
• Configure the controls as part of the risk management and compliance process.
• Harden the APEX Cloud Platform components to ensure an appropriate balance between security and manageability that are modeled on a risk-based approach.
