recovery run

Use the recovery run command to run a recovery operation. Only an admin user can access this command.

Syntax

 crcli recovery run --action {recoverapp | recoverycheck | recover-to-alternate | sandbox-create | sandbox-delete}  --appnickname <nickname> [--bootstrapFolder <folder>][--copyname <name>][--ethernetPort <port number>][--mountaction][--mountpoint <mount point>][--recoveryMtree <MTree>][--sandboxname sandbox name][--storageuser username][--watch <number of seconds>] 

Parameters

--action, -a {recoverapp | recoverycheck | recover-to-alternate | sandbox-create | sandbox-delete}
(Required) The action that you want to run
--appnickname, -i <nickname>
(Required) Application name for the recovery operation
--bootstrapFolder, -b <folder>
(Optional; used for NetWorker only) Folder used as bootstrap device name for NetWorker Server backup
--copyname, -c <name>
(Required; for Avamar, NetWorker, and PowerProtect Data Manager recoveries, and PowerProtect Data Manager recovery checks and recover-to-alternate actions) Name of data copy to recover
--ethernetPort, -e <port number>
(Optional) The Ethernet port number
--mountaction, -m
(Optional) For an NFS file system, mounts the recovery sandbox
--mountpoint, -p <mount point>
(Optional) The directory in which the sandbox will be mounted
--policyname, -n<policy name>
The name of the policy
--recoveryMtree, -r <MTree>
(Required for recover-to-alternate action) The MTree name for the recovery operation
--sandboxname, -s <sandbox name>
(Required) Name of the recovery sandbox to create/delete
--storageuser, -u <username>
(Required; used for NetWorker recovery) The ddboost user for a NetWorker recovery
--watch, -w < number of seconds>
(Optional) The interval of seconds that the progress of the recovery job is displayed
