system clean

Use the system clean command to manage and show the cleaning schedule. Only an admin user can access this command.

Syntax

crcli system clean [--show][--alerts <number of days>][--cleannow][--copies <number of days>][--day <number of days>][--events <number of days>][--drbackups <number of days>][--jobs <number of days>][--nextrun <"date and time">]

Parameters

--alerts, -a <number of days>
(Optional) Deletes alerts that are older than <n> days (minimum value of 30 days)
--cleannow, -l
(Optional) Starts the cleaning process immediately and deletes alerts, events, copies, and jobs by using the cleaning schedule values
--copies, -c <number of days>
(Optional) Deletes unlocked copies older than <n> days (minimum 1 day)
--days, -d <number of days>
(Optional) Runs maintenance jobs every <n> days
--drbackups, -r <number of days>
(Optional) Deletes drbackups older than <n> days (minimum 1 days)
--events, -e <number of days>
(Optional) Deletes events older than <n> days (minimum 30 days)
--jobs, -j <number of days>
(Optional) Deletes jobs that are older than <n> days (minimum value of 30 days)
--nextrun, -n <"date and time">
(Optional) The date for the cleaning schedule to run. Follow the mm/dd/yy format, as shown in this example: "07/10/21 3:00PM EDT".
--show, -s
(Optional) Shows the current cleaning schedule settings

[root@cr-system]# crcli system clean --show

Run Maintenance Job every:              7 days
Next Run:                               2021-03-25T05:00:00-04:00
Delete unlocked copies older than:      7 day(s)
Delete Alerts older than:               90 days
Delete Events older than:               90 days

Delete DR Backups older than:           7 days
Note: The DR backup schedule must be enabled to be included in the cleaning schedule.
