users passwordpolicy

Use the users passwordpolicy command to manage and view password requirements to enhance protection and prevent unauthorized access. Only a security officer can access this command.

Syntax

crcli users passwordpolicy [--show][--expirationduration <number of days>][passwordhistorycheck <number of previous passwords>][--passwordlength <number of characters>][--passwordcontainsusername <true | false>]

Parameters

--expirationduration, -r <number of days>
(Optional) Duration in days after which the passwords expire (the default duration is 60 days, the minimum duration is 30 days, and the maximum duration is 180 days)
--passwordhistorycheck, -h <number of previous passwords>
(Optional) Sets the number of passwords, up to five, to check if your new password has already been used
--passwordlength, -l <number of characters>
(Optional) Sets the password length
--show, -s
(Optional) Shows the current password policy values.
--passwordcontainsusername, -u <true | false>
(Optional) Enable checking to ensure that the username does not include the password
