Removing the front cover

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the left-side cover.

Steps

  1. Place the computer in an upright position.
  2. Gently pry and release the front-cover tabs sequentially from the top.
  3. Move the front cover outward from the chassis.
  4. Disconnect the front-LED cable from the connector on the front cover.
