Removing the system fan
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the SD card.
- Enter service mode.
- Remove the base cover.

Steps
- Disconnect the fan cable from the connector on the system board.
- Remove the two screws (M2x5) that secures the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Lift and remove the fan from the computer.
