Installing the palmrest antenna module
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the palmrest antenna module and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Place the palmrest antenna module on the system and replace the two (M2x2.5) screws that secure it to the system.
- Reroute the antenna cables through the routing channel and connect them to the WLAN module on the system board.
- Replace the (M2x2) screw that secures the WLAN bracket to the system board.
