Installing the smart card reader
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the smart card reader and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Slide the smart card reader into its slot in the computer chassis and secure it using the four (M2x2.5) screws.
- Adhere the smart card reader and NFC module cable and connect it to the USH board.
- Adhere the touchpad FFC cable along the sides of the touchpad module and connect it to the system board.
