Installing the WWAN card
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the WWAN card and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the notch on the WWAN card with the tab on the WWAN-card slot and slide the WWAN into the M.2 slot on the system board.
- Connect the antenna cables to the connectors on the WWAN card.
- Align and place the WWAN-card bracket and tighten the single (M2x2.5) screw securing it to the system board.
- Replace the WWAN-card shield over the WWAN card.
NOTE:Insert the edges of the WWAN-card shield into the clips on the system board to secure it in place.
