Removing the audio board

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the microSD card.
  3. Remove the base cover.
  4. Remove the battery.

Steps

  1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
  2. Disconnect and peel the audio board FFC from the system board.
  3. Remove the M2x2.5 screw that secures the audio board to the computer.
  4. Lift and remove the audio board from the computer.
