Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
   2. battery
   3. WWAN card
   4. WLAN card
   5. hinge cap
3. To disconnect the display cable:
   1. Release the WLAN cable from the routing channels [1].
   2. Disconnect the IR camera cable [2].
   3. Remove the M2x5 screws and lift the metal bracket that secure the display cable on the computer [3, 4].
   4. Disconnect the display(eDP) cable [5].
   
4. To remove hinge screws:
   1. Remove the M2x5 screws (4) that secure the display assembly to the system board [1].
   2. Release the antenna cables and display cable from the routing channel [2, 3].
   
5. Turn over the laptop.
6. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Remove the M2x5 screws (2) that secure the display assembly to the laptop [1].
   2. Flip toopen the display [2].
   
7. Slide the display assembly away from the system base.
