Removing the touchpad button board

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
   2. battery
   3. WLAN card
   4. WWAN card
   5. SSD cardor hard drive
   6. chassis frame
3. To release the touchpad button board:
   1. Lift the latch and disconnect the SmartCard reader cable from the connector on the system board [1].
   2. Peel off the SmartCard reader cable from the adhesive [2].
      
4. To remove the touchpad button board:
   1. Lift the latch and disconnect the touchpad button board cable from the connector on the system board [1].
   2. Remove the M2x3 screws (2) that secure the touchpad button board to the laptop [2].
   3. Lift the touchpad button board away from the laptop [3].
