Installing the battery

  • CAUTION: Ensure that both sides of the battery are aligned with the battery slot. If the battery is not aligned correctly, the battery and the battery latches may get damaged. Do not use force while inserting the battery in the battery slot.
  1. Align both sides of the battery with the battery slot.
  2. Slide the battery into the slot until the battery clicks into place.
    • NOTE: If the battery is not seated firmly, reinstall it.
  3. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer .
