Installing the System Board

  1. Replace the system board on the chassis.
  2. Tighten the screws to secure the system board to the chassis.
  3. Connect the following cables to their connectors on the system board:
    1. power
    2. display-cable bracket and display
    3. network connector
    4. touch panel
    5. speaker
    6. audio connector
    7. touchpad
  4. Install the:
    1. heatsink
    2. system fan
    3. WWAN card
    4. WLAN card
    5. hard drive
    6. audio-connector board
    7. coin-cell battery
    8. keyboard
    9. keyboard trim
    10. memory modules
    11. base cover
    12. SIM card
    13. battery
    14. SD card
